According to question,

\( a - b = 402 \) .... (i)

\( 153.6 = \frac{a}{b} \times 100 \) .... (ii)

By solving equations (1) and (ii), we get

a = 1152, b = 750

Average number of runs scored by batsman N in the tournament = \( \frac{1152}{18} = 64\)
