In a mixture of 60 litres, the ratio of milk and water is 2 : 1. If this ratio is to be 1 :2, then what is the quantity of water to be further added?

Description for Correct answer:

2+1=60l

60litre  = 40 +20

Ratio => 2 : 1

Required ratio => 1 :2

Now, The quantity of milk = 40 l=> 1 share

1 share = 40 l

2 shares = 80 1

Already 20 l water is in the mixture

The quantity of water to be further added =80-20=60l
