Data regarding the number of voters at 5 different centres : A, B, C, D, E
What is the difference between the total number of people who did not vote at Centres A and B together and that who did not vote at Centres D and E together ?
Correct Answer: Description for Correct answer:
Number of people who did not vote at centre A
= 2100 x \( \Large \frac{20}{100} \) = 420
Number of people who did not vote at centre B
= 2100 x \( \Large \frac{20}{100} \) = 350
Number of people who did not vote at centre D
= 2100 x \( \Large \frac{24}{100} \) = 576
Number of people who did not vote at centre E
= 2100 x \( \Large \frac{15}{100} \) = 300
Required difference = ( 576 + 300) - ( 40 + 350)
= 876 - 770 = 106
