Description for Correct answer:
Let cost price of article A = Rs.x
Selling price of article A = \( \Large x \times \dfrac{90}{100}\)= Rs.\( \Large \dfrac{9x}{10}\)
Selling price of article B = \( \Large \dfrac{9x}{10} \times \dfrac{125}{100} = Rs. \dfrac{9x}{8}\)
Cost price of article B = \( \Large \dfrac{9x}{8} \times \dfrac{100}{120} = \dfrac{15x}{16}\)
Required percentage = \( \Large \dfrac{x-\dfrac{15x}{16}}{\dfrac{15x}{16}} \times 100\)
= \( \Large \dfrac{x}{16} \times \dfrac{16}{15x} \times 100\)
= \( \Large \dfrac{20}{3} = 6\dfrac{2}{3}\)
