Average age of A and B, 2 years ago was 26. If age of A 5 years hence is 40 years, and B is 5 year younger to C. then find difference between age of A and C ?

Total age of A and B before 2 years = \( \Large 2 \times 26 \)= 52 years.

Total present age of A and B = \( \Large 52 + 2 \times 2 \)

= 52 + 4= 56 years

A's age after 5 years = 40 years

A's present age = 40 - 5 = 35 years

B's present age = 56 -35 = 21 years

C's present age = 21 + 5 = 26 years

Difference between age of A and C = 35 -26 = 9 years
