I. \( \Large x^{3} \) = 878 + 453 = 1331
\( \Large \therefore \) x = \( \Large \sqrt[3]{1331} \) = 11
II. \( \Large y^{2} \) = 82 + 39 = 121
\( \Large \therefore \) y = \( \Large \sqrt{121} \) = \( \Large \pm \)11
