In 2005, number of qualified candidates from state P = 320

In 23006 = \( \frac{115}{100} \times 320 = 368 \)

and in 2007 = \( \frac{125}{100} \times 368 = 460 \)

Let the appeared candidates in 23007 be x.

\( \frac{80}{100}x = 460 \)

x = 575
