In a business partnership among A, B, C and D, the profit is shared as follows :

Then

A : B : C : D = 1 x 1 x 1 : 3 x 1 x 1 : 3 x 3 x 1 : 3 x 3 x 3

= 1 : 3 : 9 : 27

Let the profits of A, B, C and D are x, 3x, 9x and 27x respectively.

Hence, Partnership of

C = \( \Large \frac{9}{1 + 3 + 9 + 27} \) x 400000

= \( \Large \frac{9}{40} \) x 400000 = Rs. 90000/-
