A man sold 20 apples for Rs. 100 and gained 20%. How many 51pples did he buy for Rs. 100?
Correct Answer: Description for Correct answer:
According to question,
SP of 20 apples = Rs. 100
gained = 20%
\( \therefore \) CP of 20 apples = \( \Large 100 \times \frac{100}{120}=\frac{250}{3} \)
CP of 1 apples = \( \Large \frac{250}{3 \times 20}=\frac{25}{6} \)
In 100 Rs. he buy = \( \Large \frac{100}{25} \times 6 \)
= 24 apples
