If the capacity of a cylindrical tank is 1848 \( m^3 \)and the diameter of its base is 14m, then find the depth of the tank

A) 12 m

B) 14 m

C) 15 m

D) 18 m

Correct Answer:
A) 12 m

Description for Correct answer:

The capacity of a cylindrical tank = 1848\( m^{3} \)

The diameter of a cylindrical tank = 14m

Radius= 14/2 = 7m

Volume of the cylindrical tank

=>\(\pi r^{2}h \) = 1848

=> \( \large\frac{22}{7} \times 7 \times 7 \times h \)=1848

=> h = \( \large\frac{1848}{22 \times 7} = 12 \)

The depth of the tank = 12m
