Time taken by A to complete a work

= x days

Time taken by B to complete the same work

= 2x days

According to the question,

\( \Large \frac{1}{x}+\frac{1}{2x}=\frac{1}{12} \)

=> \( \Large \frac{3}{2x}=\frac{1}{12} \)

x=\( \Large \frac{3\times 12}{2} \)=18

Time taken by B to complete the same work = 2x=\( \Large 2\times 18 \)=36days
