In the following question two equations numbered I and II are given. You have to solve both the equations and Give answer
I. 3x - 2y = 10
II. 5x - 6y = 6
A) x > y
B) x \( \Large \geq \) y
C) x < y
D) x \( \Large \leq \) y
Correct answer:
A) x > y
Description for Correct answer:
By equation I \( \Large \times \) 3 - equation II,
9x - 6y - 5x + 6y = 30 - 6
=> 4x = 24 = > x = 6
From equation I,
3 \( \Large \times \) 6 - 2y = 10
=> 2y = 18 - 10 = 8
=> y = 4
