In the following question two equations numbered I and II are given. You have to solve both the equations and -
I. \( \Large x^{3} \) - 878 = 453
II. \( \Large y^{2} \) - 82 = 39
A) x > y
B) x \( \Large \geq \) y
C) x < y
D) x \( \Large \leq \) y
Correct answer:
B) x \( \Large \geq \) y
Description for Correct answer:
I. \( \Large x^{3} \) = 878 + 453 = 1331
\( \Large \therefore \) x = \( \Large \sqrt[3]{1331} \) = 11
II. \( \Large y^{2} \) = 82 + 39 = 121
\( \Large \therefore \) y = \( \Large \sqrt{121} \) = \( \Large \pm \)11
